Weekly Meal Plan
Written by admin on April 29, 2008 – 1:15 am -So, one idea that I got from the blog I told you about in my last post, is that she posts her meal plan every week. So, I thought maybe I’d start doing that, just in case any of you might need some ideas for your weekly meal plans (as I’ve said before, I hate it when I get into a rut of making the same thing over & over…maybe some of you feel the same?)! Also, if you need some help with your weekly meal plans (believe me, it saves SO MUCH time and money to do this!), read my post on how I create my meal plans.
What I decided I’m going to do, is start posting my meal plans from the previous week, so that when I try a new recipe, I can post it and let you know how it was (genius, I know). Now, before I post last week’s meal plan, I have to put in a disclaimer…my dad was in town from Massachusetts last week, so I spent a lot of the week keeping him entertained, so last week’s meal plan was a bit pathetic…I promise that the meal plans to come will be much better (and actually include me cooking at home more than twice!). But, anyway, here’s last week’s meal plan for you:
- Monday: Ground Beef Fricassee, salad
- Tuesday: Eat out at Tucanos (YUM!)
- Wednesday: Chicken Tacos
- Thursday: store-bought pork roast, rice-a-roni, salad
- Friday: Family party, Pizza…and at the request of my sister-in-law, I brought a big thing of Frog Eye Salad
- Saturday: store bought rotisserie chicken, pasta-roni, salad (seeing a pattern here? That’s what happens when I don’t plan ahead!)
- Sunday: Chicken Pasta
