Well, first let me start by telling you a little about myself. Hello! My name is Jasmine and I am a small business owner who has NO time to cook (or clean, or sit or think)! Between meetings and proposals, customer service and trying to actually collect money, I just don’t understand how anyone actually has the time to cook a halfway decent dinner.

But I am also a wife. I’ve been married for a little over two years, and my husband (and business partner) is one of the few people I know that works even more than I do, so I think he deserves at least one meal a day (or a few meals a week?) that is cooked in our kitchen, not Taco Bell’s. And now that we’re thinking about bringing some children into the mix, I’ve really been starting to realize lately that I’m probably not going to get an LESS busy so I better start figuring something out.

Well I guess here comes the easy part. In a short conversation with anyone who knows me you will probably always hear two things: ONE, that I am one of the busiest people they know (and that they’re sick of me saying I “have too much work to do” to go to a movie with them or even chat on the phone for a few minutes), and TWO that the only thing that I actually get excited about is food, cooking, and anything that has to do with it.

Unexpected, right? Well I think there’s a difference between enjoying to cook and actually feeling you have TIME to do it. So THAT is why I decided to start this blog. I’m sure that there are many of you who also feel like you don’t have any time to cook or clean, or sit or think. And I’m sure that with the little extra time that you DO have, the last thing you want to do is create a weekly menu, or find recipes, or watch the food network (isn’t that Reese Witherspoon movie or the new Stephenie Meyer book a little more exciting?). And that is were you can benefit from knowing me. Because on the rare occasion that I do find those few minutes for myself, I like nothing more than to spend my time with Rachael, Giada or Paula, or surfing the web for a fun new recipe. And I’d love to share my info with you. Because I feel that any person, no matter how busy they may be, with the proper planning can get a good meal on the table for themselves and/or their loved ones.
